After more than 15 years supporting the amazing young people and families of the Tweed Coast, the Tweed Coast Youth Service will close as of December 31, 2025.
Weโre so proud of whatโs been achieved and so grateful for everyone who made it possible.
A huge thank you goes to our wonderful partners, including The Family Centre, Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre and Murwillumbah Community Centre, for walking beside us all these years.
Thank you to everyone who supported us through grants and financial contributions, including Northern Rivers Community Fund, ITV Tweed Community Initiative Fund, NSW State Government and Tweed Shire Council. Additionally, thank you to our incredible local shops and businesses for your continual support.
Special thanks go to the many volunteers who have held this service up for 15 years. Our board members have given countless hours, often at the expense of their own time, to keep the service running. Over the past four years, we have struggled to attract and maintain volunteer board members, and it has now reached a point where our small, dedicated team is no longer able to continue.
Finally, to the young people and families we have supported, we thank you for trusting us. Your strength and resilience have been at the heart of everything we do.
Although the Tweed Coast Youth Service is closing, we are incredibly proud of the difference we have made during our time in the community.
