Volunteers wanted for Byron Seniors Club! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help with Elder Beats, our joyful drumming circle, and Social Tea, our welcoming community morning tea 🥁

These much-loved gatherings help local seniors stay active, build friendships and feel connected to their community. Whether you can assist once or across several dates, we’d love to hear from you.

Volunteers can help with:
👋 Welcoming members
🪑 Setting up and packing away
☕ Serving tea, coffee & treats
💬 Sharing a friendly chat with members

Rev your engines for a ride that gives back 🏍️

The Veterans Motorcycle Club Northern NSW Chapter is holding its Lest We Forget Dice Run on Saturday 31 October, with proceeds from the day going to support Fletcher Street Cottage.

Start at the Mullumbimby Cenotaph. Registration opens at 8am, stands up at 10am and it’s $30 to roll. There’ll be more than $1,000 in prize money to be won, plus raffles at every stop.

A huge thank you to Veterans MC Northern NSW and everyone taking part for supporting Fletcher Street Cottage and our community. Rev up, roll out and ride for a good cause!

Together, we’ll explore phone settings and apps, staying safe from scams, using myGov and Medicare, and taking and sharing photos.

If you earn around $70,000 or less, you may be eligible to receive free assistance from our friendly accredited Tax Help Volunteers.
