Byron vibes is all about celebrating & showcasing the incredible array of musical and artistic talent in the Byron Shire. We are in absolute rapturous celebration and love with the Byron shire and the artistic, cultural and environmental bounty we have here on our doorstep… in this paradise we are so very lucky to call home. ve of music, art and philosophy, we point towards a much broader vision: the celebration of life itself and the miracle of the human experience. Through our festive celebration of local music, arts and culture, our greatest hope and intention is that through living our lives the way we do, we will encourage others to shine the creative light of their own festive brilliance and make a better world for all along the way. Byron Vibes has emerged throughout the past 2 years through the collaboration of a large range of local artists. We have run three ticketed events during this time with the most recent attracting between 650-700 guests. In March 2014 we released our first compilation album under our own label Constellation Records,representing the music of 18 local artists. Our events run both a main and side stage for live music (with the side stage being largely focused on improvised cross genre performance) and a silent disco for electronic dance music. For future events we intend on including a 3rd stage whose focus will be towards representing the broader cultural identity of the Byron shire, involving partnerships with groups such as Circus arts, Spaghetti Circus, (the concept Mini Vibes being developed for kids)Sea Shepherd and local charities/organizations, as well as being a voice for an emerging Byron Vibes environmental and community hub.
