🌊🐢 Target the Trash for the Turtles – Coastal Clean Up Event🐢🌊

Byron Shire Council is supporting Australian Seabird & Turtle Rescue Inc alongside Change for Marine Life , and Clean Up Australia to kick off turtle nesting season with a community clean up.

📅 When: Friday 4 October
🕙 Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm
📍 Where: Banner Park, Brunswick Heads Markets

Our beaches need some extra TLC after the recent wild weather. Clean coastlines mean turtles have the best chance to lay their nests successfully – free of obstacles and litter.

All debris data collected will contribute to the Tangaroa Blue Marine Debris Database.
