One of the lesser known benefits of Parent Pathways is access to the Individual Fund.

This funding may be available to help eligible participants take the next step towards their personal, study or employment goals.

As every parent's situation is different, the support available through the Individual Fund will vary based on individual circumstances and goals.

If you're interested in learning more about how Parent Pathways can support you, the team at SMYL can talk you through the program and what may be available.

Looking for something to do with the kids that doesn't cost a thing?

Your local library is a great place to start. Many libraries run free story time sessions, craft activities, rhyme time, school holiday programs and other activities for young children throughout the year.

It's also a great opportunity to meet other local families, encourage a love of reading and get out of the house for a few hours.

If you haven't visited your local library recently, check out what's on in your area. There are plenty of free activities available for children of all ages.

Parent Pathways is about more than appointments – it's about building connections, having new experiences and meeting other parents in your community. 💛

Recently, we celebrated Mother's Day with a Paint & Sip event, bringing parents together for a relaxing afternoon of creativity, conversation and lunch.

It was a wonderful opportunity for participants to get to know their mentors in a fun and informal setting, while connecting with other parents who understand the joys and challenges of raising a family.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We loved seeing your creativity shine and can't wait for our next community event!
