To inspire and engage individuals, businesses and the local community to celebrate community, participation and endeavour by staging an annual swim around the Busselton Jetty. Our Values

Participation: In acknowledgement of the value of community involvement and engagement we value, encourage and nurture participation in the event be it as a Swimmer, Volunteer, Sponsor, Spectator or Supporter. Community: Developing an event that inspires, engages and benefits the community with a strong emphasis on volunteering, community service and leadership and with strong business benefits for community groups and local businesses. Affordability: Actively seeking new ways to keep the swim affordable for the wider community whilst ensuring it remains financially viable. Good Governance: As an Incorporated Association, our organisation must comply with the Associations Incorporation Act 2015. The committee subscribes to this model of governance to best ensure that we can continue to honour our values and meet our strategic objectives.

AN UPDATE FOR UNSUCCESSFUL BALLOT ENTRANTS
We sincerely apologise for the confusion, frustration and disappointment caused by yesterday’s Race Roster ballot failure. We understand how much the Busselton Jetty Swim means to our swimming community, and we’re sorry for the uncertainty this created.

If your 2027 ballot outcome is unsuccessful, you have options you can consider:
🏊1. REMAIN ON THE 2027 WAITLIST
Keep the opportunity to secure a place should one become available.
🏊2. WITHDRAW FROM THE 2027 WAITLIST FOR A GUARANTEED 2028 ENTRY
Withdraw from the waitlist ANY TIME before 4 February 2027 to receive a guaranteed 2028 entry in the same swim distance registered in 2027.
This offer is made as a gesture of goodwill in recognition of the disruption and disappointment caused, and we hope it provides some reassurance to affected swimmers.

BALLOT UPDATE: The Busselton Jetty Swim Team and Race Roster are working urgently behind the scenes to diagnose today’s ballot registration system failure, establish exactly what occurred and ensure the ballot results are reviewed and announced accurately.

We understand that many of you are understandably concerned and confusion around your ballot outcome, payment status and whether your entry is secure.

We will provide a comprehensive update by email tomorrow morning, outlining the next steps and anticipated timeline for resolution.

We sincerely apologise for the frustration and uncertainty this has caused.

IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE: BUSSELTON JETTY SWIM BALLOT

We use Race Roster to manage our ballot system.

Unfortunately, a technical issue with the new system implemented has disrupted the ballot process.

ANY BALLOT EMAILS RECEIVED BEFORE 2.00PM AWST TODAY SHOULD BE DISREGARDED.

All registrations are currently paused while we work with Race Roster to resolve the issue.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and uncertainty this may cause.

As we work urgently with Race Roster to resolve the issue, we will provide further updates as soon as more information is available.

🏊 LAST CHANCE! 🏊 THE 2027 BALLOT CLOSES TONIGHT!
This is your last chance to enter the ballot for the 2027 3.6km Solo Swim and One Mile Swim to Shore.
⏰ The waitlist is generated from unsuccessful ballot entries. If you don’t enter the ballot, you won’t be able to join the waitlist after it closes.
🎲 Places will be allocated at random, with ballot results emailed 12 October.
🤞 Unsuccessful entrants will automatically be allocated a place on the waitlist, unless you opt out during registration.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Busselton Jetty Swim Stinger Club.

This year, 29 legendary swimmers who have completed 25 or more Busselton Jetty Solo Swims over the past 31 years have been inducted in the Stinger Club.

This exclusive group has earned the honour of a guaranteed place in the event in recognition of their incredible commitment to the Busselton Jetty Swim.
