At Sunraysia Cancer Resources (SCR) there is a comprehensive collection of written information about all types of cancer, as well as information and advice about local and out of area services and supports. No appointment is necessary to use the information service. Prior appointment is recommended if you require assistance from the Manager. A computer with free internet access for those seeking information on cancer is available, and there is a patient transport assistance service via VPTAS (Victorian) and IPTAS (NSW) for those needing out of town medical treatment. Your GP, surgeon, oncologist or other treating health practitioner is the starting point for information about cancer treatments. However, there are many other sources you can access to supplement your information.
