Every Tuesday, the Riverside “Lunch Bunch” heads out to a new café or restaurant for some well-needed social noshing and nattering. ☕️💬

After a relaxing morning of “chat and choose” at the Riverside Hub, the crew visits places such as the Prince of Wales Hotel in Evandale. It’s not only a great opportunity to enjoy local food and great company, but also a relaxed way to practise budgeting and a number of other life skills.

It was footy finals fever in the hubs and offices this time last week as we geared up for one of the biggest sporting events on the Aussie calendar. 🏉
 
While not everyone’s team had made it into the finals, there was a sea of colour throughout the day as participants and staff repped their teams.
 
Both our Launceston and Panorama Hubs hosted special events, with plenty of fun involved for all. It wasn’t just the footballers getting a workout, with the crew enjoying a range of footy-themed games throughout the day.

Someone knows how to celebrate in style! 🎉

Last Friday's Music Program at our Launceston Hub welcomed some special guests along to join the fun. 🎶💃

Participants and staff had a fantastic day celebrating Teej, a Nepali festival centred around family, culture and tradition. Several staff members, friends and family dressed in traditional clothing and helped share the celebrations with the group.

The celebration also raised funds for communities in Nepal recovering from recent floods and landslides, with donations already forwarded to the Nepal Government Flood Relief Fund.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day and to those who came along to support the cause. 💛

If you visited the Multicap Tasmania booth yesterday, chances are you left with a friendship bracelet, a keyring or a photo of yourself rocking out on guitar 🎸😆

We had a wonderful day at the Speak Out Disability Expo Tasmania, chatting with people with disability, families, advocates and community groups from across the region.

While most people kept their adventures firmly inside the expo hall, the message behind our photo boards was the same one we see every day at Multicap Tasmania: 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗶𝗴!
