Well what a great BBQ we had today absolutely run off our feet .. the most pleasing thing everyone worked so well together and they all pulled there weight to make this probably the best club BBQ I have attended. Great work members.

What a great day at the Burnie Central Townhouse… Matty arriving in a Bentley Limousine chauffeur driven… Matty was stoked to receive the keys to his bright new shiny Mazda CX30.. The Rotary Club of Burnie West had a profitable day bringing its bank account back into the black after paying for Mattys CX30. We only had a couple of hiccups on the day with somebody setting off the fire alarm (va**ng in the toilets ) which created a total evacuation of the building this happened twice.

Get along to the Ferret Races tomorrow at The Burnie Central Town House starting at 12 Noon.. there will also be music and meals in the main bar after the races.

The Rotary Club of Burnie West recently held a fundraiser BBQ at West Park Grove IGA .. we had a very successful day raising $2000 with all funds going towards the purchase of a Mazda CX30 for Matty Dunn. Thank you to all that supported the day with donations and purchases going towards a great cause. A special shout out to Matt Eastwood at West Park Grove IGA for his generosity and the use of his shop front … Mick’s Fruit and Veggie Shed .. Sharmans Butchery .. Burnie Mazda and Cheryl Opperman.
