What We Do
Here at YMCA Bungendore, we offer a variety of programs and services aimed at helping the whole community. We have a something for you, no matter what stage of life you are going through.
For our little ones, we have our KinderGym program, operating every Tuesday and Thursday. KinderGym is a specifically designed educational gymnastics program for pre-school aged children. Combining singing, dancing and games with very basic gymnastics elements, KinderGym aims to develop a child's confidence, coordination and social skills in a fun filled environment.
For those a little bit older, we have our YMCA Bungendore Youth Space open every weekday afternoon of the school term, and an exciting holiday program for something different during the break. YMCA Bungendore offers relatively unstructured programs in our Youth Space every day of the school term from 3pm-6pm. Need help with homework, jobs, or want to chat about life? We can help! YMCA Bungendore can assist with case support to help you get to where you want to be.
Our Get Up and Go is a fun, strength and balance program for those aged 50+ (however, all adults are welcome). The program is led by a qualified fitness instructor, with participation and progress monitored to ensure you can reach your fitness goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to socialise and network with those in your community to build long-lasting friendships. Regular exercise has been proven to reduce the number of falls in older people, and increases strength, balance and fitness. Our safe and fun environment is perfect to come and try the program!
