Day 7, Goondiwindi- Moree - Narrabri
Breakfast at Goondiwindi Golf Club, the onto Moree for lunch.
Finish line at Narrabri showgrounds ending in a massive water fight.....

Day 6, Chinchilla - Westmar - Goondiwindi
Breaky in the park by Chinchilla Rotary Club
Small mechanical issue at Glenmorgan, after driving several hours at high speeds on outback roads with the car very unstable in the rear, we decided to have a look when we stopped for a toilet break. We discovered a broken rear axle U bolt and a sizable gap from the axle to leaf spring, unsure how the remaining U bolt survived the punishment it was given! Luckily, we found a donor vehicle nearby and did a deal with a "colourful" local to take off a couple of U bolts. In doing so, uncovered a gem of a closed motor museum created by the late father of the local....
We were diverted to Westmar for a BBQ lunch, as the planned stop of Tara had been evacuated due to wildfire.

Breaky at the famous and beautiful Criterion Hotel, then a short drive down to Yeppoon for a seafood lunch! Followed by dinner at the Red Lion Pub.
