What do you get when you mix Oktoberfest, a bunch of blokes, some fabulous Fräuleins, a few steins and Brave Brothers?

A bloody good opportunity to have conversations that matter! 🧡🖤

A massive thank you to the Spotted Dog at Railway Hotel for inviting Brave Brothers to be part of their Oktoberfest celebrations and for continuing to support the work we do in our community.

A special shout-out to the MARVELLOUS MISH and all the fabulous Fräuleins who brought the fun, laughter and a little German magic to the celebrations! 🇩🇪💃

And while the b**r was flowing and the lederhosen were getting a workout, our Brave Brothers were doing what we do best — listening, laughing, connecting and having conversations with blokes.

❤️ We spoke with over 40 men throughout the celebrations!

That’s 40-plus opportunities to check in, share a laugh, break down a barrier and remind a bloke that he’s not alone.

Because men’s mental health conversations don’t always happen in an office or behind a closed door. Sometimes they happen over a BBQ, at a footy game, on a building site or even beside a bloke in lederhosen holding a stein! 🍻

To the Railway Hotel, Mish, the Fräuleins and everyone who stopped for a chat DANKE SCHÖN!

Your support helps us take our message into the places where men already gather.

And remember, fellas , you don’t need a German accent, a pair of lederhosen or six b**rs to tell a mate how you’re really going! 😉🍺

🧡 Good homes start with good people. Strong communities start with looking after them.

Brave Brothers was proud to join Brighton Homes at the Coastline, Elliott Heads project, celebrating the hardworking tradies who help build homes across our region and the beginning of our first Brave Place building site partnership. 🤝

Over coffee and a BBQ cooked by CQ Building, we delivered a Brave Brothers toolbox talk and shared a segment of The Untamed Mind project, opening up honest conversations about the challenges men carry, often quietly.

The feedback from the men on site meant a lot. They appreciated the raw information and the emotional honesty of the presentation. Being able to speak openly, listen and connect is exactly why we do this work.

We also introduced our No.7 Campaign to Brighton Homes’ General Manager, sharing its purpose: remembering men lost to su***de and encouraging mates, workplaces and communities to start conversations that matter.

A heartfelt thank you to Brighton Homes for the invitation and their commitment to this partnership, and to GreenFort Liven, the WHS team, CQ Building and every tradie who took the time to listen and engage.

We’re hopeful about what we can build together a workplace where checking in on a mate becomes part of the everyday, and where men feel comfortable speaking up when life gets heavy.

Our first Brave Place building site. A meaningful beginning. Plenty of possibility ahead. 🧡

The Brave Brothers Stags are gearing up for our next few monthly rides and we want to see as many bikes and familiar faces as possible joining us!

Our rides are about more than just motorcycles. They're about bringing men together, building friendships, having conversations and reminding each other that no bloke has to face life's challenges alone.

This November, we're looking to be part of the **Boots on the Lawn** event, a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about su***de and remember the lives that have been lost.

We encourage everyone joining us to bring along a spare pair of boots or shoes to lay on the lawn.

Each pair represents a life lost to su***de. A powerful visual reminder of the people, families, mates and communities affected by su***de.

Whether they're old work boots, riding boots or everyday shoes, bring them along and help us make a statement that matters.

You don't need to know anyone to come along. Whether you're a regular rider or joining us for the first time, you'll be welcomed.

A huge thank you to Kelvin, Jay and all the guys at the East Magpies Sports club – Home of the Magpies 🖤🤍 for generously donating a load of surplus chairs to our Brave Men's Hub, opening in 2027!

These chairs are seriously comfy and built for men, so they'll be perfect for the lads to kick back, have a coffee and conversation

It's the support of great local businesses like the Magpies that makes this vision a reality. Cheers, boys, we really appreciate it! 👏
