AAA is pleased to be hosting an Emergency and Disaster Person-Centred Planning workshop and introduction to the award-winning Birdie's Tree Resource kit at its next meeting on Thursday 8 October from 9-10am at the Bundaberg Bundaberg & District Neighbourhood Centre.
Delivered by Carinbundi with support and assistance provided by the Australian and Governments through jointly funded Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, this workshop is ideal for NDIS participants, disability service provider organisations and independent service providers.
All attendees will receive a free Birdie's Tree Resource Kit for use in their own settings. Morning Tea provided!

This initiative has been developed to improve community recovery and resilience building following the impacts of 2023 Southern Queensland Bushfires event. It is designed to support people at greater risk, including people living with disabilities, families and children with individual disaster preparedness initiatives to assist in the long-term disaster recovery and future resilience.
Birdie’s Tree has been created by the Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health, part of Children’s Health Queensland to support children's disaster preparedness, resilience and recovery.
