Options Day 2026 – Community, Connection & Inclusion

We’re excited to be back at Options Day 2026! 🎉
Hosted by All Abilities Alliance Bundaberg and Bundaberg Neighbourhood Centre, Options Day is a fantastic community-led disability expo bringing together organisations, services and community members for a day of connection, information, activities and fun.
As aproud sponsors and stallholder, we love the opportunity to get out and about in our community, meet other organisations, make new connections and share what Access Recreation has to offer.
We look forward to being part of this wonderful event again this year and enjoying a great day out in our community!

A little creativity by the sea 🌊🐚

Pam enjoyed a wonderful day out at Bargara with her Support Worker Sharee, making the most of the beautiful seaside atmosphere while working on her Diamond Art.
After stopping for a drink and some morning tea, Pam found the perfect spot by the beach to get creative while listening to Dolly Parton. 🎶
On the way home, Pam also made a stop at the car wash, adding another little highlight to her morning! 🚗✨
A great day out for Pam and Sharee enjoying creativity, community, good music and doing the things Pam loves.

Passion and Dedication 🏓🏉

At Access Recreation, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate, pursue their passions, and thrive in the activities they love. Whether on the sporting field, playing in a competition or simply doing what makes them happy, we are committed to encouraging our participants, celebrating their achievements, and supporting them every step of the way.

Two of our participants, Taylah and Ethan, recently achieved excellent results in their chosen sports and we are so proud of their hard work and dedication.

Ethan – League-ability Bundy
Ethan travelled to Brisbane to play with his team, demonstrating amazing commitment and passion for Rugby League. It’s fantastic to see how much he enjoys getting out there, playing alongside his teammates and being part of a team. Well done, Ethan! 👏

Taylah – Bundaberg Table Tennis
Taylah competed in the 2026 Bundaberg Closed Championships, collecting a number of certificates along the way! 🏆👏
Taylah has the biggest drive, love, and passion for Table Tennis, and we absolutely love hearing all about her local and travelling competitions. We’re proud to see her continuing to challenge herself and achieve great things. Well done, Taylah!

Jamie’s Day Out with Mark!

Jamie and his Support Worker Mark made the most of their day out in the community!
From singing and dancing along at choir, to enjoying a train ride and getting some exercise with a 2km walk around the Botanical Gardens, there was plenty happening throughout the day. 🚂🌳
Jamie then put his bowling skills to the test and knocked over an impressive 100+ score! 🎳👏 Safe to say, he was pretty proud of that one!
Another great day of getting out, staying active and enjoying the community!
