To maintain an interest in all forms of motor vehicle.
2. To encourage good fellowship between various groups of motor vehicle
owners.
3. To promote interest in, and participation in, all forms of motor sports and
promote affiliation with state and national bodies associated with motor sports.
4. To promote safety in motor vehicle maintenance and operation.
5. To promote road safety for all motor
vehicles, passengers and road users.
6. To organise events in order to raise money for other charity organisations. Our Auto Show on 3rd November 2013 at the Bunbury Recreation Grounds was a huge success raising $22,175.49 for Make A Wish Australia. A wonderful charity that enriches the lives of hundreds of sick and terminally ill children throughout Australia, including many children from the South-West region. Make A Wish Australia are the sole beneficiaries of the show with no money used for personal or association gain. The Make A Wish Australia Bunbury branch also had a fundraising stall at our last show and 100% support future events organised by us. Our 2014 show, should it proceed, will nominate Make A Wish Australia as the sole beneficiary again. Our show is a family orientated event with a kids play area including bouncy castles and rides. We attracted over 200 vehicles of all vintages, shapes, styles and sizes, with families bringing cars from as far afield as Albany, Wagin and Geraldton and a large number of cars and families making the trip down from Perth. We had 3 nationally awarded cars attend - the likes of which the south west has never seen before. We have a strong stance against "hooning" and our Auto Show is proof that the car community can get together and do great things for our community as a whole.
