South West Young Veterans

South West Young Veterans South West Young Veterans is a social group connecting young veterans in South West WA.

Run by veterans for veterans, it fosters camaraderie and social networks. Whilst not providing professional services, it offers guidance to relevant organisations South West Young Veterans is a social group which seeks to bring together young veterans throughout the South West of WA. The group provides an initial point of contact for those within the South West and public forum to share ideas and

ideally create social links. Many ex-serving members grew up in the South West and have relocated back to the area and may be looking to link back with people from a familiar background. The group further seeks to raise awareness about young veterans throughout the local community.

🇦🇺 Veteran Community Spotlight 🇦🇺

There are some fantastic organisations working hard to support veterans and their families, and we wanted to highlight two that are making a real difference:

🤝 Hudson Road Family Centre (Bunbury)
🤝 Buddy Up Australia

Both organisations continue to deliver a range of activities, programs and events that help veterans connect with their communities, improve wellbeing and strengthen support networks.

With a number of upcoming events planned, particularly here in the South West, there are some great opportunities for veterans and their families to get involved, meet like-minded people and build new connections.

Hey South West Veterans

Putting it out there if anyone Veterans who are keen fishermen or would like to go out fishing for mental health. I have a 5.6m Sharkcat( picture below ) and I’m keen to take some vets out for the day if you’re keen to throw in for bait and fuel. Pm me if you’re interested and we can tee it up whilst the demersal ban is lifted for some dhuies or snapper. When the season closes it will be almost time for cray season. if there is any budding divers they are keen to go hunt the ocean roaches send me a pm or comment on the post and I’ll be in contact.
