SWIG Bunbury team were delighted to host Ms Kajari Biswas Ji, Consul General of India, India in Australia (Consulate General of India, Perth), Business Consul General Naresh Kumar Ji last weekend (29th and 30th August 2026) in Bunbury.

The weekend of events commenced with an Open House Q&A with Consul's team. This was followed in the afternoon by a brief tour of Bunbury Art gallery and Bunbury Wildlife Park coordinated by SWIG Bunbury member Archana & City of Bunbury 🙏🙏.

The Consul's team were entertained in the evening with the Sufi Qawwali performance by Centre for Oneness- SNM Perth along with Bollywood, Bhangra and Classical dance performances. Deputy Mayor Cheryl Kozisek joined us for the evening entertainment as SWIG Bunbury's guest.

On Sunday morning, a casual brunch was held at Hello India Bunbury's function room attended by Jaysen Miguel, Bunbury Mayor, Former Multicultural Minister/Mayor John Castrilli, David Myles, Vice President, SIMCOA and SWIG Bunbury committee members.

Special mention to Rejith, Megha & Chef's at Hello India Bunbury for their delicious brunch food of north & south Indian food.
