Foster girls Lucy and Belle are just a couple of the hounds in our care wondering what 2026 may have in store for them. We want to say a big thank you to all our carers, adopters, donors and supporters who have enabled us to continue to rehome retired racing greyhounds throughout 2025. We are forever grateful for your support and wish you all a wonderful year ahead.

On Track!

A greyhound fostering program which rescues unwanted dogs leaving the racing industry is on track at Bandyup Women’s Prison.

With the help of rescue group Greyhound Angels of WA, four-year-old ‘Demi’ is the first greyhound to be housed at Bandyup.

Thanks to the training and love provided by staff and prisoners, the dogs learn how to socialise and adapt to a domestic environment before going to their forever homes.

The program not only helps prepare the greyhounds for life on the outside - but the women too.
