Reminder to everyone, especially the younger crew coming through — ANZAC Day at your local RSL isn’t just another day off.

It’s a chance to stand together, reflect, and show respect for those who served and sacrificed for the life we get to live today.

Bullsbrook Cricket Club held its 2025/26 Awards Night at Tkoxo Brewing in Baskerville on Saturday afternoon.

A huge thank you to the venue for putting on great food and providing a fantastic space for us to celebrate — it made for an awesome afternoon. Also, a big shoutout to Bomber for shouting a few rounds… a great man doing great things 👏

The weekend actually kicked off Friday night at Crown, with a few of the crew attending the PCSA Awards Night. Congratulations to:

Saturday then saw a fantastic turnout, with plenty of family and supporters in attendance. A big thank you to the committee for their efforts, and to Moyesy for getting the bus to and from Bullsbrook safely. The weather held up beautifully, allowing us to enjoy the afternoon outdoors — and while a few may have taken home more silverware than others, it was a great day all around.

GRAND FINAL – J GRADE

This Saturday, the Bullsbrook Cricket Club heads into battle against Lesmurdie Mazenod in the J Grade Grand Final at Pickering Brook Sports Club.

These 12 gentlemen have earned their spot on the big stage — now it’s time to finish the job.

Let’s turn Pickering Brook into a sea of red, white & black and get right behind the boys as they chase premiership glory!

Semi Final Results

C Grade’s minor premiers went down in a tough contest against Middle Swan.
A strong bowling performance kept us right in it, with Twisty leading the way (5/31), well supported by M Crosby (2/14) and Mok (2/27), restricting them to 131.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t quite get the runs, falling 37 short in a gritty chase.

J Grade, on the other hand, made a serious statement—rolling Forrestfield for just 41 inside 15 overs.
Luke was outstanding with 5/19, backed up brilliantly by Fred (2/5), Stubs (2/2), and the expensive Brock (1/13).

A shaky start with the bat (we’re blaming the pitch) had us at 3/25, but S Sundries (19*) and Bumbles (14*) steadied things and guided us home.

Massive congratulations to J Grade on reaching their first Grand Final since returning as a two-team club. A fantastic effort across the board.

Let’s get around the boys at training this week and bring the energy on Saturday 🙏🏼

Both teams are into the Semi Finals on Saturday. The format is simple, win and advance to the Grand Final, lose and it's stumps.

Get around the lads this weekend as they both take on strong opponents. Don't be a stranger, get down and watch some quality cricket and best of luck to all the teams in the finals.

Round 17 - Last Regular Game of the Season

C Grade ✅
What a way to finish top of the table – a game clear!
On a scorching 41°C day, the boys showed grit and fire.

Batting highlights: Callum continued his merry march with 18, Twisty wreaked havoc with 41, Ghirra contributed 28, and Bomber came out of retirement to finish 30* to post 135 off 25 overs.

Bowling & fielding: Wickets spread around with Binga, Mok & Ghirra picking up 2 each, Twisty and Skipper Garath snagging one each. Skipper and Croz also made magic happen with run-outs. Result: a thrilling 5-run victory!

C Grade now host Middle Swan this Saturday – our chance to make the big dance!

J Grade 🔹
A tough day saw the lads fall to SKLP but still finish a respectable 3rd on the table.

Bowling highlights: Skipper Brock grabbed 2 wickets, with Fred, Bumbles, Stubs, Stuw & Hoops all chipping in with one. Adrian took a screamer in the slips, and Jacko & Bumbles each snagged a run-out.

Batting highlights: Bumbles 21, Laneo 28 – we were 3/60 chasing 120. Clarky (13) & Brock (12) helped along the way but losing regular wickets didn't quite finish the job, going down by 18 runs.

J Grade now head to Forrestfield at Hartfield Park on Saturday for their chance to shine in the finals.

Off the field:

The ladies enjoyed a day out! Big thanks to Moyesy for chauffeuring, and Ryno Sanders for running the club and water effortless in testing conditions.

Shoutout to Brock, Clarky & Jacko for holding the fort at the DOS while we hosted a home game away.

Massive training session this Thursday – plenty of selection headaches ahead, but the club is buzzing and ready for the challenges to come!
