This is the dedicated week where we show all of our Teachers and Assistants just how much we appreciate their important role in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development.

This week is all about them! We’ve started off the spoiling with some special treats and lunch today, and will continue to show them just how wonderful they are!

🧡🌳 Annual Bulimba Kindy Auction Donor Shout Out: Goodwork HR 🌳🧡

As a community run kindy, the generosity of local businesses and our wider community plays such an important part in supporting what we can provide for our children. Today, we’re very excited to give a special shout out to Goodwork HR, one of the major donors supporting our Annual Bulimba Kindy Disco & Auction Night.

Goodwork has generously donated an incredible $2,900 worth of HR consultancy to our online auction, and it’s one our business owners, managers and leaders will want to keep an eye on! 👀

We're excited to share that Bulimba Community Kindergarten has been selected as one of Grill'd Bulimba's Local Matters community groups for the entire month of August!

Here's how you can help:
🍔 Grab a burger, salad, or sliders at Grill'd Bulimba.
🪙 You'll receive a Local Matters token with your meal.
💛 Drop your token into the Bulimba Community Kindergarten jar.

The more votes we receive, the larger the donation we'll receive from Grill'd to support our kindy. Every participating group receives funding, with the top voted group receiving the largest donation.

Three generations, one very special Bulimba Kindy family. 🧡

At last week’s 84th Birthday celebrations, we were delighted to capture this beautiful photo of Nanna, who attended Bulimba Kindy in 1960, her daughter, who attended in 1991, and now the grandson, who is part of our 2026 Kindy family.

Moments like these remind us that Bulimba Kindy has been part of so many local families’ stories for generations, creating memories that last a lifetime.

As our birthday celebrations also fell during National Pyjama Day, we marked the occasion in the best way possible, wearing our favourite PJs and enjoying delicious birthday cupcakes together!

Happy 84th Birthday, Bulimba Kindy. Here’s to many more generations of learning, laughter and lifelong memories. 🤗🎉🎈

🐝 Buzzing with excitement this World Bee Day! 🐝

Earlier this week, our children enjoyed a special visit from A Green Soul Native Bees, learning all about the importance of caring for Australian native bees.

The children observed a stingless bee observation hive up close, learnt how honey is made, and discovered the important role bees play in keeping people and the planet healthy.

It was a wonderful hands on experience that sparked curiosity, encouraged respect for the environment, and reminded us how even the smallest creatures make a big difference. 🌿🍯
