🥧 Last chance to order Pie Drive Items 🥧

The order site will close at 8pm tomorrow Mon 18th May https://bulimba-girl-guides-pie-drive.square.site

The savoury and sweet pies are delivered fresh from Foxy's Bakery in Stanthorpe ready to be eaten fresh, or can be frozen for another time.

A Grandad of two of the Bulimba Girl Guides does the 4 hour round trip to deliver the items to us which we greatly appreciate 🚚

The items will be available for collection on Wed 27th May between 4:30pm to 6pm from the Guide Hut, 7 Barramul St, Bulimba. We'll send a reminder email to those who order a few days before.

🥧 How good is a warm, crusty pie in this cooler weather! 🥧

Bulimba Girl Guide's Pie Drive is back again this year.

Pies will be delivered fresh from Stanthorpe's Foxy's Bakery ready to be eaten fresh or frozen for another time.

We've never received the most number of tokens - we're hoping the luck of the Lions and Broncos will flow through to us this month 🙂

We had a wonderful day on Sunday celebrating 100 Years of Girl Guides in our area. Many former Guides popped by and shared wonderful memories and photos from their time in Guides and/or Scouts. We had a huge collection of memorabilia on display including past uniforms, blankets, badges, books, tents and photographs.

Corey lead the Guides and our State Commissioner in a special dance. The current Guides organised a number of stalls with friendship knot making, lolly bags, cupcakes, lemonade, cookies, face painting, raffle and guide badges.

We have a very special 100 Year anniversary badge featuring the Bulimba Girl Guide hut available for sale for $5 per badge. The badge was designed by our current Guides. Please email [email protected] if you would like to purchase one.

A big thank you to Lynette and Heather who were the main organisers for this special event; and a special thank you to our current Leaders and Support Group who also helped to make this event possible.

Thank you to our local members and local businesses for your sponsorship and support: Di Farmer MP, Councillor Lucy Collier, Bulimba Oyster Company, Bennie Adam, Cracker Jack, Nom Nom, Massage on Oxford, Indigo Bulimba, Riverbend Books, Woolworths Morningside, Coles Morningside and a local artist who donated a beautiful painting for the raffle.

We're very excited about our 100 year celebration of Girl Guides in our area between 11am and 2pm at Bulimba Girl Guides Hut, 5 Barramul St, Bulimba tomorrow Sun 14 Sep.

We have LOTS of memorabilia and photos set up at the Hut for you to see.

Guides will be doing a camp fire, songs, face painting, lemonade, cupcakes and a raffle. We'll also have a sausage sizzle.

Plus we'll have a very special 100 year anniversary badge for sale which was designed by the Guides.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow

Only 5 sleeps to go until we celebrate 100 Years of Girl Guides in our area on this Sunday between 11am and 2pm at Bulimba Girl Guide Hut (behind the Community Centre), 5 Barramul St, Bulimba.

We'll have lots of fun activities including face painting, camp fire and songs, sausage sizzle, Girl Guides Memorabilia ... and of course a cake!!

Bulimba and Balmoral Guides are excited to celebrate our 100 Year Anniversary between 11am and 2pm on Sun 14th Sept at Bulimba Guides Hut, 7 Barramul St, Bulimba

We'll have lots of fun activities, sausage sizzle and memorabilia on display.
