Hi All
I was looking forward to a great holiday with my wife on a road trip from Broome to Darwin however a biopsy result from last week has come back positive and my surgeon wants scans ASAP so they can decide the best treatment so once again my life has suffered to this cancer and I have had to cancel my plans . I am really starting to feel emotionally the effects of all of this it’s mentally draining and at times very hard to deal with. It just does not effect myself it also effects the my family and the good people around me.
without the support of my family and good friends I don’t know where I would be today. I have learnt to just roll with the punches but mentally it can be hard . I have a great family also a bunch of good mates and a men’s group who help me get though. All of this is due to my skin cancer followed by the leukaemia that I managed gave me a double whamy in life . This page is not for my sympathy but hoping to get the message across how damaging the harsh Aussie sun can be and what it can cost you in life so please look after yourselfs and your family.❤️
