Can’t wait to see the Krauss Museum up and running. With publicity and promotion it should be lots of feet into the heart of Buderim 🤞

Can you believe that there's a train in there! Sure is 😁 but a train engine to be more precise.

The Krauss locomotive that once ran up and down the mountain connecting Buderim and Palmwoods with people, produce is behind the glass. AND, here's a heads-up.

The new Krauss Locomotive Museum will be officially launched on Friday 11th September by its stewards, the Buderim - Palmwoods Heritage Tramway Inc. Thereafter it will be on display with lots of interpretative info boards telling its story that's so intrinsic to the history of Buderim. Excited to see it finally back in the centre of Buderim.

Grateful for all who are bringing this project to fruition from the past and present volunteers & members of the Heritage Tramway association, the sponsors and donors and the builders and suppliers. It's going to be a great addition to the heart of town.

And in the spirit of community collaboration that's so easy to find in Buderim, the Buderim Garden Club are completing the landscaping around the new museum as part of their 80th anniversary celebrations this year. How good is that!
