Fishing competitions raising funds for Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation

Hey guys just a quick update on the Eucumbene event this year and for anyone interested in becoming a sponsor.

It's still a few months away but we are getting excited.

All funds raised will go to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation, we are so close to exceeding $100k donated to date.

We are looking for sponsors!!!

This financial year we are making a new hooded fishing jersey and are looking for sponsors.

How it works:

We are asking for any businesses that are interested in becoming an advertising sponsor to donate items for the raffles/ auctions at both events or a payment which WILL be donated to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation (SCHF) this financial year.

Any companies that purchase a spot on the jersey will get their logo on the jersey, a free jersey and a tax receipt.

Like last time the fishing jerseys will be available for anyone to purchase with all proceeds being donated to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation (SCHF)

If you sponsored previously we will contact you to see if you're interested again this financial year.

We aren't asking for a lot but together we can make a real difference.

Since Conjola we have been preparing for our next event at Eucumbene Dam held at Buckenderra Holiday Park to continue raising money for the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation.

Entry forms will be out in the next 3 weeks.

Remember all accommodation costs are included in your tournament fees and we need to know numbers to be able to assign you an appropriate cabin.

Accommodation dates are from Thursday 15/10 to Sunday 18/10.

If you attended last year we will send the entry form to the person who organised your cabin.

If you haven't attended and would like to come this year please contact us on Facebook, Instagram or by email and we will send you an entry form when they are out.

Conjola 2027 dates!

Tournament dates:
Friday 2nd April and Saturday 3rd April 2027

Nexts years Conjola tournament will be held on the dates above. Those of you that stayed with us last year at the Holiday Haven Lake Conjola have the same cabins reserved again, if you could contact the park and pay your deposit that would be appreciated.

If you can't make it next year please let me know before you cancel your cabin so we can hopefully reallocate it to another entrant.

We have also been able to secure more cabins in the park this year. If you are interested please call the park on (02)4444 8830 and let them know you are a part of the Casting for a Cause group.

The cabins available are cabin 16,18, 19, 20, 21.

The booking dates are from Thursday 01/04/27 to Sunday 04/04/27

This year's Casting for a Cause Conjola Classic raised a staggering $15,165 for the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation.

The donation will be added to our donation page in the coming days which will bring our total to date just shy of $100k.

We would like to thank everyone that came along and attended the event with a total of 67 anglers it was our biggest Conjola event to date.

We would like to thank all the businesses that sponsor our events, that help out with donations and items, your support really makes a difference.

Thanks again to everyone and we can't wait to see you at the next one.

Over the weekend we had our annual fundraiser at Lake Conjola NSW.

We would like to thank everyone who supported us and congratulate our junior winners. We are still finalising our donation amount to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation.

Hi everyone,

Entry forms were due last Friday, we have had a few late entries come in over the weekend and today. It's looking like we will have more entries this year than previous years.

If you would like to come along we can still accept entries this week, we do have a deadline for shirts and clothing. Please get them in asap if you're planning on coming.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

We have been sending out entry forms for our Conjola Classic 2026 which is on Friday the 27th of March and Saturday 28th of March 2026.

If you attended our Conjola Classic last year you should've received your entry form. If you attended the Eucumbene Trout Challenge 2025, we sent the entry forms to your cabin organiser.

If you haven't received your entry form or would like to come along please reach out to us.

It's shaping up to be another great year with sponsors and prizes. They will be announced over the coming weeks.

We are also excited to continue our efforts in raising money for the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation, we are currently at $82,067 since November 2023.

I hope everyone has had a good start to the year.

We have our Conjola Classic coming up on March 27th and 28th. Entry forms will be out next week, the first week of Feb. If you entered last year we will send you an entry, if you would like to enter please reach out and we will send you an entry form.

We will be raising money for the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation. Last year we took our total donated to date to $82,067.

Also for the Conjola Classic this year we will be setting up and trialing a group WhatsApp to keep everyone updated throughout the event.
