Casa Cultura A community of artists and art-lovers supporting each other for a strong voice! Casa Cultura Inc.

is a not-for-profit incorporated association established with the purpose of supporting, fostering and representing the cultural voice of the community of people from Latin American origin in Australia. By recognising the pivotal role of the arts in the social interaction of diverse communities and the sustenance of a cultural identity, we encourage and build the capacity of existing and emerging

artists in all disciplines to reach and sustain successful practices. The organisation will also propose, promote and produce initiatives that connect and foster a cultural exchange between Australia and Latin America, as a way to maintain the contemporary validity of our community’s artistic practice. We aim to establish a solid, sustainable and fruitful cultural bridge between Latin America and Australia, triggering and supporting initiatives that carry cultural manifestations back and forth between the two continents. Our activities aim generate new channels and increase access to these artistic manifestations, nurture the acceptance and understanding of its values and principles, and foster the cultural integration and social inclusion of the individuals and of the community as a whole into the socio-cultural context of Australian society.
