A few weeks back Broome Emergency Services celebrated Volunteer Week, we all came together for our annual lawn bowls showdown.

We also celebrating the incredible people who generously give their time to help keep our community safe. Thank you to all our volunteers for your dedication, commitment, and community spirit.

Here's what Sophie, Garry and Byron had to say about Volunteering.

Today, we celebrate all the incredible mums, grandmothers, stepmums, and mother figures within our Marine Rescue family and wider community. 💙🧡

To the women who volunteer their time, support our crews, hold families together during callouts, and continue to give so much both on and off the water — thank you.

From all of us at Marine Rescue Broome, we wish you a safe, happy, and love-filled Mother’s Day. 🌸⚓

Golden hour on the water 🌅

Another evening training session for the crew at Marine Rescue Broome.

Every drill, every exercise and every hour on the water helps keep our volunteers rescue-ready for the community.

Not a bad office view to finish the day. ⚓

Marine Rescue Broome extends our deepest condolences to Marine Rescue Ballina.

We are thinking of you all during this incredibly difficult time. Across the country, our marine rescue family stands together — united by the same commitment, courage, and mateship that defines what we do.

At dawn, we stood together in quiet reflection at the Broome War Memorial to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and continue to serve.

ANZAC Day reminds us of the strength, mateship, and resilience that define our communities.

Lest We Forget.

It was a privilege for our Marine Rescue Broome volunteers to attend the Dawn Service and pay our respects alongside the Broome community. Thanks Adie and Krisma.
