Regional development starts with connection. 🤝

This month, RDA Kimberley attended the Developing Northern Australia Conference, joining leaders from government, industry and communities across the north to discuss opportunities, challenges and the future of our regions.

Alongside the Northern Regional Development Australia Alliance - Northern Alliance, we were proud to showcase the strengths and potential of Northern Australia, while ensuring the Kimberley's voice was part of the conversation.

A highlight was hearing from Nathan McIvor of Djarindjin Aboriginal Corporation, whose presentation on First Nations economic development highlighted the impact of community-led leadership and the importance of keeping people at the centre of regional development.

The relationships and conversations built at events like this help create future partnerships, investment and opportunities for the Kimberley.

Thank you to Board Members Prue Jenkins, Gail Gower and Susan Bradley and Acting Director, Tracey Deegan for representing RDA Kimberley.
