Bolanle Austin Peters’ rendition of Fela’s story remains compelling because of its authenticity, cultural depth, and focus on untold narratives. By revealing lesser-known moments and perspectives, she transforms a familiar legend into a fresh, intimate experience that feels both engaging and human. This thoughtful approach highlights the richness of Nigerian theatre and explains why her productions continue to draw audiences back year after year.

YELOTO INC. BERTHS AT RIO DE JANEIRO.

Dr Oluyemi Olawaiye led, Yeloto Foundation takes its charity tour to Cantagalo Community School, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; an Orphanage that has existed for over forty years, currently catering to the needs of 74 children.

In its commitment to the total well being of children, Yeloto donated educational toys to the Orphanage. Numerous researches have lent credence to the impact of toys on the cognitive development of children in their formative years.

In its characteristic disposition of showing love and warmth towards children, volunteers were drawn from different parts of the world to visit the Orphanage and demonstrate genuine kindness.

Mr Obi Okeke, Dr Olanrewaju Obisesan, Mr Ike Ewuzie, Dr Evans Imafidon, Mr Ediru Okphewo, Dr Oluyemi Olawaiye, Dr Ubong Udoyen, and Mr Elias Akeredolu volunteered to be part of the noble cause.

The visit, which extends Yeloto charity outreach to South America is intended to foster far reaching impact in the near future.

Receiving Yeloto volunteers were Maria Christina Alves Fernandes and Silas Pereira Da Silva, Director and Legal representative respectively.
Both of whom expressed profound gratitude for the gesture of physical visit and the gifts. “We expect you back soon” the Director said.

In our usual practice, we have rewarded students who have distinguished themselves in academics in 2023/24 academic session in Mayflower School, Ikenne. So it is based on merit. We do this annually

The procedure is such that Mayflower School sends us the list of the best students overall in each class; JS1-SS3 each year.

We choose the best student for both genders; Male and Female

Also because we believe in youth leadership, we award the Senior Prefects(Boy and Girl) with a sum of 50k each; to encourage other students to look towards leadership as they build their academic careers. This year is special as we gifted 4 Senior Prefects (2023/24 and 2024/25 sets) because, Last year the supposed beneficiaries could not make it to the event

We were able represented at the event by Mr Olasunkanmi Idowu;our PRO, Mr Yemi Daniels and Mr Mutiu Okediran.

With your continued support, we look forward to expanding this initiative to other well meaning secondary schools
In Nigeria. Thank you
