Destiny Haven A residential life skills program for women in need, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Destiny Haven is a live-in long term residential program for women with life controlling issues - where emotional, spiritual, social, psychological and practical needs are dealt with - enabling them to begin to hope for a future where their pasts are left where they belong. Our program is individualised and each woman is encouraged to work at their own pace without comparing herself to others. In

an environment of love and acceptance, women find they are able to trust again or maybe for the first time in their lives. The Diamond Collection is the boutique range of quality goods handmade with love and care by the women who are residents at Destiny Haven. The collection includes an exclusive chocolate range made with the finest Belgian Callebaut® chocolate, exquisite gourmet condiments and preserves made predominantly with fruit and vegetables grown on our property or locally sourced, unique jewellery pieces made using dichroic glass and semi precious stones and handmade bags available in a unique variety of patterns. The Diamond Collection is operated as a social enterprise to generate income to fund service delivery and, as importantly, provide employability skills training opportunities for clients.

There was a time I believed my past would always define my future. Hope helped me see myself differently. It helped me believe I could be more than what I'd been through. Slowly, it changed the way I saw myself, the way I saw my future, and the way I saw God. When I think about how hope has changed me, and continues to change me, I think of this verse.

"Yet this I call to mind and therefore have hope: because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail." — Lamentations 3:21-23

If you're in a season where hope feels far away, lean into it anyway. You might not start to believe it overnight, but keep leaning in. That's how it started for me too.

Charles and Sylvia have been volunteering at Destiny Haven since February 2025, usually staying two weeks at a time and pitching in wherever they're needed. Charles takes care of maintenance around the property, Sylvia helps with laundry and both join in prayer and worship. After a lifetime spent as carers, they've found a different kind of caring here at Destiny Haven.

"One of the best aspects of volunteering at Destiny Haven is that we, personally, and our contribution, are valued by the team. We've been carers for most of our lives, and here we get to provide a different kind of caring to the staff and Diamonds; spiritual and practical, just filling in the gaps."

Huge thank you to the crew from the Chinese Evangelical Church in Sydney for coming out to Destiny and putting in the work with our team. You've supported us for so long, and having you here in person meant even more.

This trip was extra special because one of the ladies celebrated her 50th birthday by bringing her family on a mission trip to serve alongside us. What a way to spend a milestone birthday.

The time we got to spend together mattered just as much as the work itself. We won't forget it. Please visit again soon! 🩵

You're not meant to do life alone 🩵

So many people show up for Destiny Haven behind the scenes. People who pray for women they'll never meet, people who give again and again without being asked twice when they show up to volunteer, neighbours up the road who just pop in for a coffee because they can, people that shop TDC range.

None of it goes unnoticed. Every single one of you is appreciated more than words can say!
