We are very saddened by the loss of Marion in our Calisthenics Community.
Marion was a great support of our Competition for many, many years and we will miss seeing her smiling face in our audience, at our timing table or just lending a hand.
Our condolences to Noel, family & all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Marion Wright, a cherished Life Member and much loved member of the Glenroy Calisthenics family.
Marion dedicated many years to our club and the calisthenics community. She was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Many will remember Marion for her incredible work as a seamstress for Glenroy, patiently sewing sequins onto countless costumes and helping bring our performers’ costumes to life. You would often find her at competitions up until recently in the audience cheering on the Glenroy teams even many years after her grandchildren had left calisthenics.
Marion also generously volunteered her time assisting with preparations for the for many years, always contributing quietly and selflessly behind the scenes.
Her dedication, kindness and willingness to support others made a lasting impact on our club and community.
Our thoughts are with Marion’s family her husband Noel, children Rick and Sue, her granddaughter Bettina (a former Glenroy pupil) during this difficult time.
Marion will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all at Glenroy Calisthenics.
Marion’s family would like to spread awareness for Fight Parkinsons Australia, and if you would like to donate, please follow the link below.
