Friends of Will Will Rook Pioneer Cemetery Inc. This Group is for people with an interest in Local & Family History. Of the Pioneers in Campbellfield and Surrounding Areas at 10.30am. All Welcome.

Our aim is to obtain as many names as possible to complete the burial register, that is not complete. Write small histories of the people buried therein. A lot of the headstones are missing either from removal by families or vandals, or they never existed. We meet at the Age Library Open space Broadmeadows on the 3rd Monday of the month except Jan & Dec & any public holidays.

Broadmeadows historical scty/museum are organising a cemetery tour from the museum on Sunday 26th Oct 10am - 3 pm morning tea booklet and lunch included. This covers cemeteries in the Hume area. Contact them if interested 0414 187 986

Rare wooden gravestones returned to their rightful homes

The Group together with Hume Council have had a seat placed in the cemetery together with a plaque in remembrance of the many persons buried in the cemetery without headstones or marked graves.
