It’s for anyone who is ready to make a positive change in their life. Whether you have lots of weight to lose, or you are looking to drop a dress size or two! Maybe you are wanting to lean-up, build muscle and get stronger…or maybe you are someone who genuinely wants to start living a healthier and happier lifestyle! No matter who you are is for you; you just have to take that first step & commit to wanting to feel more comfortable in your body and more confident in your life. For each Challenge we ask that you make a 4 week commitment to meet as many times as you can throughout the challenge. *Everyone who wants to play MUST complete a Wellness Evaluation and Body Analysis prior to joining as this will enable you to the recognition & rewards at the end.

Please bring a small Notebook and Pen and if you a joining a Fitness Session also a towel and/or exercise mat. In both cases bring plenty of water to drink & a great attitude. After each session - Enjoy Socialisation while having the World's Number one Healthy Meal Smoothie service. It is the best post event recovery Nutrition Shake and Empowering Green Tea served up at The Lifestyle Club (TLC) Nutrition Station after your workout or event. Why the scale goes up after a big meal (and why it’s NOT fat 👇)

That post-Christmas scale jump?
It’s not body fat. It’s biology.

🍞 Carbs refill glycogen
Your body stores carbs as glycogen:
• ~300–500 g in muscle
• ~80–100 g in the liver

💧 Glycogen holds water
For every 1 g of glycogen, your body stores about 3–4 g of water
→ That’s 1.5–3 kg of scale weight alone.

🍽️ Food volume matters
Food still sitting in your gut = extra scale weight
(Not absorbed fat — just digestion doing its job.)

🥂 Salt + alcohol = temporary water retention

✨ The fix?
Protein. Walking. Hydration. Electrolytes.
Give it 24–72 hours — your weight normalises.

Read below for your 5 point guide! 🖐️

Christmas and holidays don’t mean you have to stop —
they just mean you need a simpler plan.

If you’re busy, and not living in the gym, this is your reminder:
👉 You don’t need perfect
👉 You don’t need long workouts
👉 You don’t need to “start again”

You just need a few anchors that keep your body feeling good.

This Christmas + New Year, we’re focusing on:
✔️ Protein
✔️ Walking
✔️ Hydration

That’s it.
No guilt. No punishment. Just consistency.



🎄 #1 – Start the day right

🎯 Your first holiday task is simple:

🥣 High-protein breakfast
🚶‍♀️ A walk outside
💧 Hydration target

Why this matters:
A protein-rich breakfast helps stabilise blood sugar, reduce cravings, and stop that “I’m starving all day” feeling.

Walking gets digestion moving, lifts your mood, and burns fat without stressing your body.

Hydration goal:
👉 1 litre of water for every 25kg of body weight
(eg. 75kg = ~3 litres/day)

Add electrolytes if it’s hot, you’re sweating, or enjoying festive drinks 🍹

Do this before you worry about anything else.



🎄 #2: Pick movement that fits your holiday life

You don’t need a gym to stay active over the holidays.

✔️ Walks on the beach
✔️ Neighbourhood strolls
✔️ Bush walks
✔️ Park walks with a coffee ☕

And if you want a little strength work:
💪 Grab dumbbells or resistance bands
(They’re cheap, portable, and often on sale right now.)

Even 10–20 minutes counts.

Movement isn’t about burning off food —
it’s about keeping your body switched on.
