⭐️⭐️Where would we be without these two?
Wayne, the details person, and Marina, the visionary behind the Queensland Vocal Competition Festival.
With her knack for communication, extensive knowledge of singing and genuine passion for supporting young artists, Marina Poša has guided the growth and direction of QVCF since taking on the role of Convenor in 2021, following the difficult COVID years. From logos, certificates, accompanists, sponsors and communications to long-term planning and artistic vision, her influence can be seen throughout every aspect of the Festival.
Wayne Boxall who joined shortly afterwards, has been the organisational powerhouse behind the scenes. From countless emails and registrations to food and drink organisation, problem solving, venue set up and pack down, he has managed the enormous administrative task of keeping the Festival running smoothly, including communicating with more than 76 participants and their families.
Together they have helped guide QVC Festival 2026 to unprecedented growth and success.
We are incredibly grateful to have these two stars at the helm. They are shining examples of what community volunteering, generosity, dedication and integrity look like.
