Whistleblowers have spoken out about the corruption and lies that Australia’s Nauru deals are built on, just as the Albanese Government has started taking people from their homes in midnight raids and covertly deporting them to Nauru.

Deportation to Nauru will be a life sentence, leaving people without the healthcare they need to stay alive and permanently separating them from their families. When governments and their corporate allies tell us that our security lies in repeatedly punishing a tiny group of people – who profits?

We must draw a line in the Albanese Government’s ongoing punishment of migrants and refugees.

The WA-led research is a national-first to quantify the economic costs of sexual abuse on children and adults and showed fiscal burden was exacerbated by a ‘chronically underfunded’ support sector.

Without brave women willing to risk everything when they witnessed wrongdoing in our hospitals, detention centres, and other critical services – abuse, neglect and human rights violations would stay in the dark.

Our new report "Women Speaking Out" is out today on the heavy price women pay when they blow the whistle, and how we can ensure that they are protected when they do.

Reminder! This Saturday 23rd August at 11am we are gathering at two different Caltex locations in Brisbane to promote the Boycott Caltex campaign and let local residents know where their money is going.

KEDRON - Meet at the corner of Gympie Road and Sadlier Road at 11am before heading to the Kedron Caltex.

DUTTON PARK - Meet at Gair Park, 179 Annerley Road, at 11am before walking down to the Dutton Park Caltex.

These actions are great for newcomers and people looking to get more involved in the movement. We have banners, placards and flyers - we just need you to bring your voice.

Caltex is owned by Chevron, a company deeply complicit in the genocide and apartheid of Palestinian people. Chevron steals Palestinian natural resources to fuel the IOF and Israeli state. They are responsible for genocide and ecocide in Indigenous communities all across the world. Spread the word - Boycott Caltex.
