Out with the old, and in with the new!!!

Harrison's core flute trainer got new wings and new tail sections. The old bits served very well, too many crashes to think of.

A good thing about these, is that they are extremely cheap to fix up - approximately $10.00 in parts. All the other bits are re-used.

I'd highly recommend these trainers, designed by fellow club member, Tony C.

We had a full grid yesterday. Ten planes flew, seven pilots and ten or eleven cars in the car park. I was so busy I never got to fly the two planes I brought along! Generally, it was sunny with some grey cloud to spoil some photos, with some blustery breeze to watch out for. I only included 2 photos of each plane because there were so many flying.

It was a nice day at Willawong today. The morning started out with our AGM, then we all go into the flying. It was a warm morning, with clear skies. It was nice to see some of our junior members enjoying the club too. Our youngest member Jack managed to do 4 laps on his own. Not bad for a 5 year old. His older brother Harrison also got in a bit flying on his own too.
