JISA Faber (Formerly Faber Centre of Ignatian Spirituality). We are a national community of women and men formed in Ignatian Spirituality.

We provide spiritual exercises and spiritual guidance for persons of different religions or of no religion, to help develop freedom in their daily life. JISA Faber
(Formerly Faber Centre of Ignatian Spirituality
at Mount Coot-tha, Bardon, QLD

In July 2020, we formed the new national body of Jesuit and Ignatian Spirituality Australia (JISA). Our community is a newly formed nationally administered body incorporating the Australian Centres of Ignatian Spirituality: Campion in Melbourne Victoria, Sevenhill and Loyola-Adelaide in South Australia, Faber in Brisbane Queensland and Canisius in Sydney New South Wales. Our community also includes the mobile and online First Spiritual Exercises ministry and the Being with God in Nature ministry which is inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si. Our coming together enables more agility and mobility, to go where the needs are greater, to continue interacting with you wherever you are, whether it’s in your parish, school, diocese, organisation, online or out in nature. We give the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola and accompany individuals and groups through spiritual conversation and spiritual direction. We offer retreats, ministry supervision and Ignatian formation for leadership and mission. Please email us at our new email address [email protected]

Creative Contemplation with Nature in Park.
WINTER
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
A time to cultivate our ecological conversion.
Pope Francis
The seasons are symbolic of life’s stages and spiritual growth. Just as nature cycles through birth, growth, death, and rebirth, people also move through similar spiritual phases of change and renewal. The changing seasons reflect the rhythm of our own inner journeys, reminding us that transformation is a natural and divine part of life.
Join us in each season for three hours of quiet creative time in Coomera for a guided reflection and personal time for creative contemplation in visual prayer, to experiencing a sense of the sacred caring interconnectedness with all creation.

Where: Viney Park, Lorenzo Drive, Coomera Gold Coast QLD
When: Winter: Saturday 8 August 2026, 9am – 12pm
Guided by: Lynne Head-Weir [Contemplative Artist and Companion]

What to wear and bring:
• Comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes suitable for the season and fold up chair.
• Bottle of water or your favourite morning beverage
• Eco-friendly art materials.

Price: $25 including guided contemplation and reflection materials.
