I know several people who have a traumatic childhood background (myself included). All of them are pretending to be okay.

Have literally never met someone whose past includes abuse, neglect or other trauma, who was "pretending to be sick" or exaggerating their pain.

But I've met LOTS of 'em who were pretending to be well & exaggerating their functionality— and who were f*cking exhausted by it.

When I was 17, I pitcrewed for a Litre Sprint Car at the speedway. It was a great time in my life with lots of exciting memories.

So when I got the chance to support a family owned and run Super Sedan team - Hockley Team Racing. I jumped in. Think Straight Coaching will now appear on the back of the rear wing on the Number 17 car for the next year. I can safely say that 17yo me is now giddy as a schoolgirl about it.

If you want to get your brand out there, directly in the faces of a few thousand people at a time, this sort of sponsorship is a cheap and effective way to do it. Better than a facebook ad campaing that's for sure. And you help real people at a grass-roots level.

Release the Kraken!
After the biggest two weeks on our aged care calendar, it's time sit back and relax. Thankfully I'm blessed with a great team to make it all happen... one of whom knows my kryptonite and gave me the cans.
The ankle even held up well considering the work it did in the past fortnight.

First time back on the bike after almost 5 months off. Back in my happy place. Took the wife's CB300 out though, it's lighter and easier to ride.
Still be a while before I do any decent rides, an hour was a tad too long.

Another case in Victoria of a conviction laid after an employee su***de. This time the Victorian Court has been fined by worksafe for a toxic work place.

If you are in a toxic work environment, maybe have a chat with your state worksafe organisation and see if you can force a change. The workplace revolution is coming, time to drive some.positive change.

Court Services Victoria (CSV) has been convicted and fined $379,157 over a toxic workplace culture at the Coroners Court of Victoria that contributed to the su***de of one worker and numerous others taking stress leave.
