A few moments from last Friday’s ʻava ceremony at the ToaoleAfi Pati Levasa Pati Levasa International Fire Knife Competition 2026.

Fa’afetai tele lava for inviting Le Fale Aganuʻu to lead the 'ava ceremony. It was an honour to be part of the occasion. Thank you for giving our students the opportunity to participate in our sacred traditional customs. An incredible experience for our students who are on their journey to connect to their identity and culture.

To our students, thank you for stepping forward and embracing your roles so purposefully and with so much alofa. For some this would have been the first time, and we are beyond proud of you all.

To our brothers from Tama Laei thank you for answering our call and being there with us — we’re grateful for your support. Fa'afetai, fa'afetai tele lava.

Here is a glimpse of the ceremony and morning in photos. We’ll share more of the experience in a reel soon 🇼🇸🇦🇸

Week 4 at Le Fale Aganuʻu 🇼🇸🇦🇸

A little laughter, a lot of learning, and plenty of opportunities to put their learning into practice. It’s been amazing watching our cohort connect over their aganu'u, working together and growing more confident with each week.

Fa'afetai tele lava team for the effort put in each week! We are halfway there, mālō lava le onosa'i ma le tauāta'i. See you Thursday 🫡
