Dorothy's wish was to enjoy a special day out at Sea World with her friend, Hazel. Surrounded by the amazing marine life and plenty of smiles, the pair shared a memorable day together.

They spent the day visiting the polar bears, marvelling at the rays, fish, and turtles, and stopping by to see the playful seals and penguins. To top off a perfect day, they treated themselves to some ice cream.

For Dorothy, the day was about so much more than the sights and attractions. "It was wonderful to have a day out without worrying about a health event disrupting the day. I felt so safe with the volunteers accompanying me and had such a wonderful time. A standout moment was being presented with a beautiful handmade blanket and a Paramedic Teddy Bear. It was a tremendous experience."

Mark’s wish was to return to Kirra Beach; a place filled with treasured family memories and many New Year celebrations.

Joined by his daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons, Mark enjoyed a wonderful day by the coast, reminiscing about the happy times his family had shared there over the years. One of the highlights of the day was hearing Mark chat about the challenge of choosing the perfect outfit for his beloved dog, Jazzy, who was more than excited for her ride on the stretcher!

The family spent time soaking up the beautiful beach views while sharing fish and chips. Afterwards, the grandchildren happily collected shells along the shoreline. Surrounded by the people he loves most, Mark’s wish was a meaningful trip down memory lane, creating new memories with his family in a place that holds such a special place in his heart.

Aunty Di’s wish was simply to ride the iconic Wheel of Brisbane and enjoy a family BBQ at South Bank, surrounded by the people she loves most.

The day was filled with laughter, connection, and beautiful moments. One of the highlights was seeing Aunty Di's delight when she received her teddy bear and knitted blanket. It was wonderful to watch her relax and enjoy quality time with her family and friends.

A special moment came before the ride, when Aunty Di sat quietly in the sunshine, watching her grandchildren play nearby. As the children laughed and explored, a few curious water dragons kept a watchful eye on the group, creating a peaceful and memorable scene. It was a beautiful reflection of what the day was all about: family, connection, and sharing precious moments together.

A Wish to Witness a Special Day 💕

Lorna’s wish was to attend her granddaughter’s wedding, a day filled with love, family, and precious memories.

Not knowing whether she would be well enough to be there made the occasion even more meaningful. Surrounded by her loved ones, Lorna was able to watch the beautiful ceremony, stay for the reception, enjoy delicious drinks and canapés, and listen to the heartfelt speeches celebrating the happy couple.

It was a truly romantic and unforgettable day, leaving Lorna with cherished memories that she will treasure forever having been blessed to attend such a special milestone with her family.

A day of dolphins, laughter and precious family moments. 💙

Sharon’s wish for a special day at Sea World came true, surrounded by those she loves most, including her mum and sister, her daughters and grandkids.

One of the highlights of the day was watching the Dolphin Show, where Sharon and her family watched in delight as the dolphins leapt and splashed through the water. No one could take their eyes off the action, it was simply too good to miss, and the family wanted to enjoy every second of it.

From the magic of the show to enjoying a sweet snow cone with her grandkids, the day was filled with laughter, connection and precious memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Heather's wish was simple and close to her heart: to return home and spend precious time with her family.

Surrounded by loved ones, she enjoyed being outdoors in the fresh air, sharing food, drinks and treasured moments together. It was an opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and create lasting memories with the people who mean the most to her. Keith’s wish was to spend a morning at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary alongside his friends.

The day was blessed with beautiful weather, plenty of smiles and unforgettable animal encounters. As they explored the sanctuary together, Keith marvelled at the koalas, a Tasmanian devil, bats and a variety of birds. He even had the chance to feed the emus, a definite highlight of the day

Spending time with friends made the experience even more special. From meeting the animals to simply enjoying each other’s company, the visit was filled with memorable moments and created lasting memories for everyone involved.
