The Brisbane Bunya Lions Club team is there today Mon 13th to Wed 15th July this week between Shingle Inn and City Beach.
Next week same place Mon 20th thru to Sat 25th July. Drawn 3pm Sat 25th July at 3pm.

🌿 Did you know there's a hidden community space tucked away in Everton Glen Reserve on Cabrilla St at Everton Hills? 🌿 Our Lions Club of Brisbane Bunya is proud to open the doors of our community home, the Cabrilla Centre, a place where friends and neighbours can gather, learn, move, create and connect.

Yesterday, we watched long-time University of the Third Age U3A members - who have called Cabrilla Centre home for many years - chatting with the centre's newest yoga instructor, Jennifer Cray Living Lit Up and our Club President Sue Coutts. It was wonderful reminder of what this space is all about. ❤️ Community starts with people. ☕ A conversation. 😊 New friendship. 🌿 A place where everyone feels welcome.

Huge congratulations to our member and friend John Sheraton who was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia OAM in the Kings Birthdays honours. This prestigious award is granted to Australian Citizens for meritorious or exceptional achievement in the community.
For those who know John the above is true and accurate.
John has been giving and mentoring family, friends and the community for years.
Some of his recognised contributions we are aware of are:-
Freemasons Qld Master since 1969;
Qld Justice Assoc Founding Member Pine Rivers Branch since 1975 and former treasurer;
Qld Govt Dept Justice JP Qualified since 1975;
Lions Charter Member Charleville 1973 to 1977, Member Kuraby Lions 1977 to 1975 and current member at Brisbane Bunya Lions Club.
