🌿 Did you know there's a hidden community space tucked away in Everton Glen Reserve on Cabrilla St at Everton Hills? 🌿 Our Lions Club of Brisbane Bunya is proud to open the doors of our community home, the Cabrilla Centre, a place where friends and neighbours can gather, learn, move, create and connect.

Yesterday, we watched long-time University of the Third Age U3A members - who have called Cabrilla Centre home for many years - chatting with the centre's newest yoga instructor, Jennifer Cray Living Lit Up and our Club President Sue Coutts. It was wonderful reminder of what this space is all about. ❤️ Community starts with people. ☕ A conversation. 😊 New friendship. 🌿 A place where everyone feels welcome.

🧘 And if you've been thinking about trying yoga, now's the perfect time! The first classes begin on 30 June. For enquiries visit: https://www.livinglitup.com/classes/

If you're looking for somewhere to run a class, workshop, playgroup, community meeting, celebration or local event, we'd love to show you around. There's a beautiful outdoor 🌿 garden and seating area to enjoy too.

🫖🍰We'll be hosting a Morning Tea and Open House soon, where everyone can explore the centre, meet local instructors, connect with neighbours - so watch this space for the date!

If you know someone looking for a place to teach, meet, create or connect, please SHARE this post. We'd love to see Cabrilla Centre be that place where new friendships begin, and our community grows stronger together. 😊

Thanks to everyone who donated all the warm clothing, beanies, scarves, sleeping bags, blankets and much more for Emmanuel City mission. We took in another carload recently and will happily take more. Plus our wonderful Barbara is still putting her wonderful blankets together (and still supporting Qld).
