This World Kindness Day, 15 extraordinary Australians will come together on the Gold Coast, each with a different story, but all sharing one thing in common: they’ve changed lives through kindness.

And thanks to Gold Coast Airport, we’re helping make that moment possible.

We’re incredibly proud to welcome Gold Coast Airport as the Official Travel Partner of Australia’s Kindest Person Awards 2026!

What makes this partnership so special is that kindness is already part of the way they do things.

From volunteer ambassadors offering a friendly face to therapy dogs helping nervous travellers feel at ease, and programs supporting people with hidden disabilities, Gold Coast Airport understands that every journey is about more than getting from A to B.

It’s about people.

On November 13, they’ll help us bring some of Australia’s kindest people together for one unforgettable night at Dreamworld Australia.

Because when you bring kind people together, incredible things can happen.

Better known as George D. Mann George is a third-year medical student who spends his spare time visiting children in hospital, bringing smiles, laughter and a little joy during some of their most difficult days.

Inspired by his childhood hero, George believes kindness is simply about showing up for others when you can.

And what makes his story even more special is the kindness he’s inspired in others along the way. ❤️

For Lana Borg, kindness is deeply personal. ❤️

Having experienced difficult times with her own family, Lana understands how quickly circumstances can change, and how much it can mean to have someone quietly stand beside you.

Today, through Mama Lana’s Lana and her team serve around 300 meals a night, six nights a week, supporting people with warmth, dignity and without judgement.

But for Lana, it has never been just about providing a meal. It’s about seeing the person, hearing their story and reminding them that they matter.

Lana is one of our Top 15 Finalists for Australia’s Kindest Person 2026.

Jonasi Singehebhuye founded Acts of Random Kindness Victoria at just 16 years old, and almost two decades later, that kindness continues to ripple through young people, families and communities.

From mentoring young people to walking alongside four orphaned siblings who arrived in Australia with very little, Jonasi’s kindness is about showing up and staying.

Jonasi is one of our Top 15 Finalists for Australia’s Kindest Person 2026.

There’s something pretty special about someone who knows what it feels like to struggle, and makes sure others don’t have to do it alone. ❤️

For Joshua New, kindness is about consistently showing up, especially when someone least expects it.

After two strangers simply smiled and waved at one of the lowest points in his life, Joshua created Hugs, Chats and Handshakes. Two chairs. No judgement. No agenda. Just a place to sit, talk and be heard.
And when a man he’d never met needed to travel four hours for a kidney transplant, Joshua drove him.

No recognition. Nothing in return. He simply showed up.
