Happy New Year friends! ✨

Thank you for 5 incredible years of ministry, community and growth!

Here are some snaps from our last event at our ministry’s first hub, 1 O’Connell in West End. We are so filled with gratitude over the community that joined us for this special event as we gathered to reflect and celebrate this chapter of Beth-Biri’s story. 🫂

Things worked out so well to have all of our original founders: Jael, Sergei, and Yaz around to enjoy the evening with us. They each shared a few words about the journey this ministry has embarked on and the journey the trio pursued l together, with giving their individual ’yes’ to the Lord to start up Beth-Biri in the heart of Brisbane Australia.

Current directors and leaders gave heartfelt speeches and friends from all over came and interacted with the creative stations we had set up around the (mostly) empty space.

The house of the Creative One had become a home, fully through the people who filled it. 🏠❤️

As we reflect on this season past of joy and giving, we are especially thankful for you — our community, friends, volunteers, and supporters. Your prayers, love, and encouragement have been the greatest gifts of all. We love you all and will speak soon about what our ministry will be up to in the future!

Coming up so soon, on the 17th of this month, we will be hosting + over at 1 O’Connell for a spectacular house show. This will be an opportunity for our community to gather, witness and enjoy the melodies and talent God has put on Yaz and Callan’s hearts and voices. 🎶

It is with great joy that we welcome them as this final chapter at our home in West End comes to an end, and just like how we started, we’ll come together as our original crew —along with a few new faces. 🫂

Happy 1st of the month! ⭐️

December will be extremely special for our community, as this will be our last month at our ministry hub at 1 O’Connell Street in West End. 🏠

We have two main events, a homecoming show featuring our beloved friends + as well as our final ‘farewell’ event to reflect, share and delight in this chapter of the ministry of Beth-Biri as a house nestled into the heart of our city.

We invite you to participate in these momentous events and we want to thank-you all for supporting and encouraging this journey of seeing this creative generation set free in Jesus’ name. ♥️

Join us for the last event of this month, over at Highgate Hill Park, West End this Saturday, the 30th of November! 🧺

Our team will be putting on a Creative Picnic to gather, create and watch the sunset from 4pm — 7pm and you’re invited. There will be some small nibbles available, but feel free to bring along your dinner! 🥙

We can’t wait! 🤸🏻‍♀️

We are thrilled to welcome back and her husband, at our space for a Homecoming Show, just before the doors at 1 O’Connell close and a new chapter begins for Beth-Biri. 🕊️

It’s been 3 years since seeing Yaz’s sweet face around our community and she, alongside her little family, are ecstatic to be back! 🌟

Join us friends, for a night of enjoying the wonderful rhythms of Yaz and Callan’s music — new and old. 🎶 It’s sure to be a special night!

Join us for our our next Saturday event, a Breakfast Picnic & Create — open to all, we’ll be meeting locally at Orleigh Park in West End. 🧺

We’ll provide some breakfast bits and pieces, as well as a plethora of art supplies and a guitar or two for you to share! 🥐

Bring along a brekkie snack and join us for this wholesome morning of togetherness and take some time to get creative!

Check out these snaps by .buddy from our latest Pre-Loved Clothing & Maker’s Market! 📸

Join us for our last market — spread over two days, this Friday the 1st + this Saturday the 2nd of November. It’ll be the last time this market will be held at our space at 1 O’Connell, so it’s sure to be special. 🌟

On the Friday, the market will be a twilight market, happening from 6pm — 8pm downstairs like usual, pop on by after work for a peruse through our pre-loved and vintage racks! 👗🩳👕

The market on Saturday will remain set up from 9am — 1pm, with plenty of time for prices to go lower and lower as the market continues! 👀

These markets have been such a sweet time where community has come together over live music, free iced chais + pancakes and of course, plenty of bargain clothes for all! We have been so blessed witnessing the connection and fun that takes place at these events and we pray you experience the same. 🫂

Although the doors at 1 O’Connell will physically close soon, there will still be events held in and around the space as this chapter at our space winds down. 🏠

We invite you, dear family, to join and partake in these final events with us to get creative amongst community. 🫶🏼
