WE'RE HIRING!

Caring Cuisine is seeking a friendly and reliable person to join our small admin team for permanent shifts: 7.00am-1.30pm on Mondays, and 7.00am-1.30pm every second Friday.

The role involves attending to a busy phone line and email inbox, assisting new and existing clients with meal orders, and associated data entry/general administration… you’d be surprised how much goes on behind the scenes to get meals out to our elderly neighbours, helping them stay independent in their own homes 😊

We’re looking for someone who is confident using computers (and comfortable learning new programs and processes), organised, and has a kind and patient manner when speaking with clients. This is a busy role, so good computer skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks are essential.

Applicants with capacity to take on additional leave cover shifts (7.00am-1.30pm or 9.00am-3.00pm weekdays) from time to time will be highly regarded.

🦸‍♀️ Seeking Volunteer Despatchers! 🙋‍♂️
Make a difference in your community by helping us to organise the delivery of fresh, homestyle meals to our elderly/disabled clients, helping them stay independent in their own homes. Even a few hours once or twice a week can have a big impact!

🧡 Shifts are short & rewarding – 10am to 1pm on Mondays and/or Thursdays
🧡 Work with our friendly team at our local Mitchelton branch (despatch positions also available at St Lucia)
🧡 Help with set up and pack up at the start/end of delivery runs
🧡 Distribute bags to drivers, sort & pack away empty bags and organise returned paperwork
🧡 Assist with tidying and organisational tasks while drivers are out on their delivery runs
🧡 We’re an approved Services Australia/Centrelink voluntary work organisation, so you can contribute while meeting mutual obligation requirements
🧡 Onsite & street parking available, close to multiple bus stops or 600m walk from Mitchelton Train Station

What You Need:
✔️ Ability to lift and carry our food delivery bags short distances (from fridge/freezers to drivers' cars)
✔️ Friendly disposition and willingness to help where needed
