The Women in Forest & Timber Network (WFTN) Queensland invites you to an afternoon of networking, delicious canapés and cocktails, all while supporting the incredible work of Zephyr Education.

Training Opportunity for Women Interested in Forestry & Timber Careers

Looking to explore a career in the forestry or timber industries? 🌲🪵

ForestWorks is offering 20 fully funded training places for women who are not currently employed in forestry or timber processing but are interested in discovering the exciting career pathways available across these industries.

Participants can choose between:
✅ Forestry Operations
✅ Timber Processing

The flexible online program is designed to fit around work, family, study and other commitments, with approximately four hours of study per week. Training fees are fully funded for eligible participants through the Australian Government's Forestry Workforce Training Program.

No prior forestry or timber experience is required, making this a great opportunity for women looking to explore a new career pathway in a growing and evolving industry.

Registrations close 26 June
Training commences from July 2026

We’re excited to announce the 2026 WFTN Cocktails for Charity, proudly supporting Zephyr Education Inc 💜

Founded in Queensland, Zephyr supports children impacted by domestic and family violence—many arriving at shelters with nothing. Through essentials like school uniforms, shoes, bags, laptops and stationery, Zephyr helps these children return to school with confidence and a sense of belonging.
