Just now I was moved to tears of joy ( and pure exhaustion) trying to put into words just how much this weekend meant to me.
After five of the most challenging years of my life, this felt like so much more than a first birthday celebration to me.
It feels like we’ve finally won…. Like this is the real beginning.
If I ever doubted that this was truly my divine mission, this weekend put that doubt to rest deep inside of me.
What a first birthday!!!
Better than anything I could ever have imagined.
Two fu***ng phenomenal bands, over two ridiculously fun nights, in a room absolutely alive with beautiful humans sharing the joy of music and community.
To everyone who has ever played, come, danced, helped, supported or believed in this dream , especially my incredible team, YOU are the true heartbeat of the Ministry.
One whole year underneath our magnificent mirrorball.
I truly, madly, deeply love you all. 🪩💙🎂 Emily ###

I captured this at 2:54pm on opening day, just four hours until we open doors to the Ministry for the very first time.
It gives you some idea of the absolute force of this extraordinary team!!
I still can’t believe that was a whole year ago.
This weekend, we celebrate one incredible year of the Ministry over two huge nights!!
Here’s to everyone who helped make it happen, everyone who’s walked through our doors, and everything still to come!!

As most of you know, I do love a nice clear sign from the divine.
This beauty was captured from our carpark by the legend himself, Peter G, on day we first got the keys to our Ministry.
I can’t quite believe that tomorrow night we’ll be celebrating one whole year with the newly resurrected PTY LTD!! resurrected & playing live for the first time in 15 years, right here at the Ministry! One night only! This is a must see!!
