An Australian former swimmer with ataxic cerebral palsy, won eight medals at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.

Scott Majoribanks:
After being diagnosed with Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA), he took up swimming and recently won all the events he entered at a local swim meet.

Helen Kearney:
A Paralympian who lives with Friedreich's ataxia, a type of ataxia.

Michael Klim:
While Klim's condition is not ataxia, he has a rare autoimmune disorder and has been actively involved in supporting others with similar conditions and raising awareness.
