Assisterhood

22/08/2026

No matter where you are in your career, sometimes you can find yourself in a bit of a rut. 💁‍♀️ That’s why we’re so excited to announce our open Assisterhood event: Why Be Boring When You Can Be Badass?

This is a rare opportunity to hear from (and interact with) Maz Farrelly – a global keynote speaker who’s coached leaders from Branson to Beyoncé – and now the Assisterhood community.

🎫 Next week's session won’t be recorded, so secure your spot here https://luma.com/wqiz3duh

Congratulations to the Assisterhood class of 2026! 🎉 We’re proud to welcome 97 mentees to the program across NSW, QLD, VIC, and Online.

To everyone who applied but was unsuccessful – this is not the end of the road! 💜 We have lots to share on our socials this year (including key workshop takeaways and mentor wisdom) and an exciting all-community event later down the track. Would love to see you there.

And thank you to our amazing sponsors Streamtime, No Sunday Blues, Kerfuffle, and Twentytwodigital.

We’re blown away by 400+ Assisterhood applications between almost 100 mentors, which is our biggest year yet! That means around 1 in 4 applicants secured a place in this year’s program. 🤯

We’re so impressed with the global reach of Assisterhood, with applicants in Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, France, Sweden, Ecuador, India, Sri Lanka, and of course, all around Australia and Aotearoa.

Mentors are making their final selections this week, so keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder) from now until the end of May to find out your result.

Best of luck to everyone who applied. 💜

That’s all, folks. 💌 Assisterhood applications have now officially closed!

We often hear the application process is a wonderful way to reflect on your journey and remember just how far you’ve come. 💜 It takes courage to be vulnerable and put yourself out there, so if you applied – really take a moment now to celebrate that.

Over the next few weeks, our mentors from all four programs will spend time reading applications and deliberating on their mentee selection. Each has their own reasons and individual wisdom to offer.

Thank you again for applying, and best of luck!

Keep an eye on your inbox in May. 👀 For any questions in the meantime, email us at [email protected]

If you’re planning to doom scroll this weekend, we have a better idea: Assisterhood applications close Monday night! 🙋‍♀️ assisterhood.com.au/apply

Here are some things to think about when you’re applying:
📍 Where you are now vs. where you want to be next year. What do you want out of your mentorship?

💜 Try to be honest about your current crossroads or struggles. This isn’t a job application. There’s no wrong answers.

🤖We don’t want to read an AI platform’s words, we want to read yours! If writing isn’t your thing, you can upload a video too.

💫 Don’t be afraid to be proudly yourself. Into crochet? Own a cute cat? Do you volunteer somewhere? Your passions and hobbies can help mentors connect on another level.

Don’t overthink it, just do what feels right and authentic to you. If you’re still stuck, you can always send us a message.

Applications close 11.59PM AEST, Monday 13 April.

Apply today for a chance to be mentored by the industry’s most inspiring leaders, and gain a community for life. You never know where it might take you!
