Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) - Queensland Chapter We officially launched the Queensland Chapter of AIYA on September 20, 2012.

The Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) Queensland Chapter is a youth-led organisation that connects young Australians and Indonesians in Queensland to each other and to opportunities to work on or in Indonesia. Building, strengthening, enriching grass roots relations is the foundation upon which AIYA QLD can effectively engage with:

Students and student bodies,
Australian youth,
Educato

rs,
Business,
Government,
Community leaders,
Members of the public, both Indonesian and Australian

AIYA QLD empowers stakeholders/groups/organisations with information relevant to the Australia-Indonesian relationship. Information such as:

Job and internship opportunities,
Laws and regulatory frameworks in Australia and Indonesia,
Scholarships and student exchange opportunities,
Business and government investment,
Projections and research,
Cultural links

The AIYA QLD membership disperses the information we gather to the stakeholders/groups/organisations we are connected with in order to inspire the next generation of Queenslanders to take part in the Asian Century. The AIYA QLD committee is comprised of dedicated Australia-Indonesia enthusiasts who are undergraduate students, postgraduate students, young professionals and are all volunteers.
