ur love. In fact research shows it can have a positive effect on patient well being and healing. What better reason to get crafty than to create some fun toys for kids in need of some tlc. For our first of many projects, we have pledged to inspire crafty people to create 200 handmade toys to give to the kids at the Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane this Easter. No mater where you live join the Handmade with Love revolution! There are many ways to get involved:
If you’re crafty, then we need your help to make some toys. No matter what you like to do: hand sew, knit, machine sew, crochet, embroider or quilt – we’d love you to join the “Handmade with Love Revolution” and make some toys for sick kids in hospital. We have some basic toy patterns to get you started at www.hmadewithlove.com. Whether you use these, different patterns or design your own, just make sure your toys meet the donation specifications listed on our website please.
Donate craft and sewing supplies. Raid your sewing cupboard pronto! We need fabrics like felt, flannel, fleece and cottons, as well as items like threads and hobby fill stuffing etc to make our toy creations.
