YAMADA O'REGAN SECONDARY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
Applications opened November 1st.
The objective of the Yamada O’Regan Secondary School Scholarships is to advance Ngāi Tahu secondary school students to complete the school year and successfully attain a secondary school qualification.
Eligibility:
- Registered with Ngāi Tahu Whakapapa
- Enrolled at a secondary school studying in years 10, 11, 12 or 13
- Achieving academic success in at least three school subjects
- Involved in whānau, hapū or iwi-related activities
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Be able to explain the difficulties/hardships that may prevent you from completing your current school year and or successful attainment of a secondary school qualification.
Open/Close Dates:
This scholarship is open November 1st to February 1st every year.
The selection panel will meet in mid-May to make decisions on all received applications and approved payments will be made thereafter.
